Investors will also keep an eye on the IT sector, as many major companies will announce their results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023-24.

Keep an eye on TCS results, inflation figures

According to Santosh Meena, Research Head at Swastika Investment Limited, “Indian companies will begin reporting financial results for the fourth quarter starting this week.” First and foremost, the results of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS Q4 Results) will be announced on April 12. India’s Industrial Production (IIP) figures will also be released on April 12. Inflation data for March will be released on the same day.

Last week, the BSE benchmark rose by 596.87 points, or 0.81%. It reached an all-time high of 74,501.73 on April 4.

Business will be held for four days, holiday on Thursday

The stock market generally trades five days every week and Saturday and Sunday are holidays. But, this time it will also remain closed on 11th April i.e. Thursday, due to Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramadan Eid or Meethi Eid). There will be no trading on BSE and NSE on this occasion.
