Wipro Limited, India’s third largest IT company, has appointed Srini Pallia as its new CEO and MD. According to the information provided by the company, he will succeed Thierry Delaporte. Thierry Delaporte will remain employed by the company until the end of May. Following this, Srini Palliya will take over the company’s new leadership.

Srini Pallia will become the new CEO of Wipro Limited, India’s third largest IT company. He has been named the new CEO and MD of the company.

Who is Srini Pallia?

Actually, Srini Pallia has been with Wipro for three decades. Srini Pallia joined Wipro in 1992.

Most recently, he was CEO of Americas 1, the company’s largest and fastest growing market.

Since joining the company in 1992, he has held a number of senior positions. He has also served as the Global Head for Wipro’s Consumer Business Unit and Business Application Services.

Srini Pallia earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in management studies from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Srini Pallia has also completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and the McGill Executive Institute.

When will you take over the new assignment?

According to the company’s announcement, Srini Pallia will succeed Thierry Delaporte. Thierry Delaporte will remain employed by the company until the end of May.

Following this, Srini will take over the new position. He’ll be based in New Jersey and report to Chairman Rishad Premji.
